A Little West Virginia Humor
A woman was baking an angel food cake for her church's bake sale. When she took it out of the oven, she found that the center had dropped completely flat. there wasn't enough time to bake another one, so she stuck a roll of toilet paper in the center and covered it with icing. She then gave her daughter some money and told her to run over to the bake sale and as soon as it opened, she was supposed to buy back the cake. When her daughter got there, she found out that someone had bought the cake before the sale opened. The woman was mildly freaked out.
As luck would have it, she got invited to a bridge party the next day and after the meal was served, her hostess brought out the same cake! She got up and was just about to pull the hostess aside to tell her about the cake, when another guest said, "What a beautiful cake." She sat back down when she heard her hostess say, "Thanks, I baked it myself!"
